Crossroad
Chapter 8
Waiting for the bus at the bus stop, emotions engulfed his being. Tears trickled uncontrollably. Regrets filled his heart, yet there was nothing he could do anymore. He had a fear of hurting her even more if he allow things to happen as it is.
When he just boarded the bus, his handphone rang.
"Hey actually want to tell you something, but didn't got to say it just now. Anyway thank you so much for what you had done for me for the past half a year. You really impacted my life alot. Thanks for all your unceasing love and care. I am so happy to have such a friend like you. Even though, the person you like could not be with you, but hope you will get to find someone you really love and the person will love you as much too..."
And then Celynn ended the phone call even before Kris could had a chance to react and say something. And Kris could hear that Celynn was actually crying through the tone of her voice.
At that moment, an inner shout came all the way to him, that brought forth his real deep desire that he himself couldn't suppress. He finally knew what he want, and what he must do.
He quickly alight the bus. It was already 4 bus stop away from his school. At the first instinct of his mind, where logic does not have a rule over him anymore, he just kept running and kept running towards the direction of his school. He just kept running, didn't even bother to stop to take a breather. In his mind then, the only thing that kept him going was the thought of telling Celynn that the one he really love is her.
Finally, he reached the school gate. From afar, he saw Celynn at the canteen. He ran towards her.
Celynn was shocked, her eyes still red from the crying. Celynn exclaimed, "Why you came back? I thought you already left."
Without saying anything, Kris grapped her hands.
"How could i leave without my heart, when my heart is still right here with you."
Celynn was totally speechless, she totally didn't know how to react. Her tears keep flowing, but this time, was tears of joy and warmth.
Kris right at that moment, hugged her right in front of everyone else in the canteen, and say to her, "Please accept my this fragile heart and keep it well, so that i can never ever leave you... I Love You."
Celynn nodded her head. And the people around them all cheered for them.

Even though months down the road, quarrels arose between them and they got seperated. But how they got together, the scene is forever carved in their minds and memories.

what an amazing story.. i can sense the warmth Celynn had when Kris said those words.
